Roswell, GA, July 9, 2010—Dr. Claire M. Welsh and Dr. Stephen P. Welsh of Care More Chiropractic in Roswell attended the International Chiropractors Association Symposium (ICA) in Geneva, Switzerland and the World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC) meeting in Budapest, Hungary this past June.

The two Roswell, Georgia Doctors traveled to Switzerland (and Budapest) to learn about new treatments to better help their patients and foster international sharing of scientific knowledge. The Symposium offered a wide range of training and seminars including chiropractic neurology, research,philosophy, special diagnostic instrumentation, X-ray and MRI imaging, personal injury, and adjusting techniques for newborns, athletes, and the elderly. Doctors in the field and faculty from chiropractic institutions in New Zealand and the USA presented the latest information from research and professional papers that had been selected by peer review. The Symposium offered a uniqueopportunity to learn from practitioners with special expertise and skills, including pediatrics, working with professional athletes, and geriatric patients. The Welshs’ were involved in discussions related to chiropractic and health and shared their experiences with world-renown Doctors. Exclaimed Dr. Steve Welsh, “Among the many symposium highlights was a presentation by Dr. Jeff Spencer, the USA Tour de France team chiropractor.”

“It was exciting to learn all that’s involved with creating the ‘winning team’ and how extensive a role their chiropractor played in helping Lance and his teammates reach Peak Performance,” enthused Dr. Claire Welsh. 

Dr. Claire Welsh has practiced at Care More Chiropractic, located at 1575 Old Alabama Road for over 20 years, and serves in the Representative Assembly for the ICA representing the ICA members in Georgia. Dr. Steve Welsh, co-owner of Care More, has practiced for 14 years, taught at Life University, and was recently elected as the Secretary-Treasurer for the ICA where he is currently serving a two-year term.

Both Doctors have served as the ICA delegates to the WFC at the past three biennial conferences and at the Educational Symposium before attending the 2010 WFC Council Meeting. While in Budapest, 100% of the chiropractors in Hungry attended the social event and hosted the WFC members and guests to an evening of traditional Hungarian dance at the cultural center.
