DRAMA
September 11 - October 3
“Sweeney Todd” performed on the theatre in the round at The Rosewater Theatre, 633 Holcomb Bridge Rd., Roswell.
The musical thriller tells the tale of the unjustly exiled barber who returns to 19th century London seeking revenge against the lecherous judge who framed him and ravaged his young wife. His thirst for blood soon expands to include his unfortunate customers.
Sophisticated, macabre, visceral and uncompromising, “Sweeny Todd” nevertheless has a great sense of fun, mixing intense drama with howlingly funny moments of dark humor. Rated PG-13 for some violent and adults situations.
Show times are Friday & Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. Tickets are $18 (plus tax) for adults; $16 for Seniors and Children.
