Centennial, Milton Hosting State Championships Saturday
Both the Centennial boys soccer team and the Milton girls lacrosse team will be hosting State Championship matches Saturday.

The Milton girls waxed St. Pius X 19-5 in a Tuesday state semifinal game. This means they'll play host to area rival Chattahoochee, who beat Lassiter 9-6 in the other semifinal. The AAAAA State Championship will be held at 6 p.m. at Milton High School.
The Centennial boys continued their run through soccer's state tournament by pasting East Coweta 6-2 in a semifinal game played Thursday. Junior Sandoval had three goals for the Knights, Zane El-Shami had two while Adly Valcin added one himself.
Centennial will play host to Collins Hill who knocked off Walton Thursday night 7-6 in penalty kicks. The game was tied 0-0 after the completion of regulation and two overtimes.
The AAAAA soccer State Championship will kickoff at 8 p.m. Saturday night at Centennial.
